So, the cynic in me (i do try to tame her but it's hard!) says well, just ban car parking on the street so that there is always room for emergency vehicles, and install cameras to make absolutely sure no-one drives down it anymore. Probably including residents themselves. They can shop or get deliveries by bike. Maybe soon even by drone.
Do you see where I'm going with this? Emergency vehicle access is only going to be used as a lever to bring in more restrictions plus surveillance.
Honestly, I knew this was going to happen, we have all been warning car haters BCC that if someone dies because emergency vehicles couldn't get to them in time, that that death would be entirely on BCC, shame on BCC for refusing to listen the strong opposition local and business and other drivers' voices for a whole year that this anti-motorist EBLN was a disaster from the outset. Thankfully, the no one has died in this fire incident, but we cannot wait for a death to happen before BCC will see sense and END this EBLN immediately and re-open all the blocked streets and roads in EB.
Agreed, it was only a matter of time. Most people don’t know that there are several care homes in the area and ambulances / paramedics need to access them both for routine care, but most importantly, for emergencies. If they need access during this period where fire engines are blocking Beaconsfield Road, it could lead to a death.
I know, but BCC are NOT working for us are they? they are working for the Globalist puppet masters. Again, I feel confident, BCC will be forced to admit defeat in the end and take out EBLN and when we will all say "We told you so, but you refused to listen, you arrogant self-appointed tin-pot Hitlers".
This is my community. Despite all the scare mongering you do, the fire service were able to attend to this fire and support all those impacted. This is yet another example (like that in Barton Hill earlier in the year) that the EBLN isn't causing any significant delays and inability of the fire service to act that the stop group keep anticipating. But because reason doesn't trump rage bait you will continue to anticipate the next disaster rather than admit you might be wrong.
