And here we go: the new round of TRO consultations as BCC attempts to clear up the mess they made that was predicted by almost anyone who bothered to examine what had been proposed, and use the upset about emergency vehicle access to slip in more cameras - which will of course only be the start.

As I'm still on the EBLN email list I got the email about that. I wouldn't normally reply to a council email but this time I made an exception and wrote a brief flame mail complaining about the waste of resources on yet another consultation - both public money and citizens' time. I've lost count of how many consultations BCC has now run on the EBLN but I think the first one might have been in 2022. If so, we're in year 4.

It's a disgrace - a complete abuse of the system. I really think citizens need constitutional protection against council overreach.

Enough is enough, its time all affected and impacted must unite together, crowd fund legal action, and take this dictatorial lying deceitful BCC to court.
